ABOUT US

Established in 1992, Lakamali is a non-governmental, non-profit organization that focuses on solving critical issues related to climate change in Indonesia, especially in the Southeast Sulawesi Province. Our idea for tackling climate change is to bridge three aspects of life: humans, plants, and animals. We believe that balancing these aspects can reduce the impact of climate change and make the Earth a better place to live.

Our idea is actually simple: reducing the impact of climate change can begin by addressing inequality and poverty in human populations, planting as many trees as possible, and understanding the importance of animal welfare.
